Why The Continuity Initiative Exists

We live in an age of unprecedented access to information. Yet despite the abundance of data, important records, experiences, and ideas are often fragmented, forgotten, or lost.

The Continuity Initiative was created in response to this challenge.
Our mission is simple: to preserve knowledge, document matters of public interest, and create a lasting record for future generations. We believe that documentation is one of the most important civic responsibilities of any society. Information that is organized, preserved, and made accessible has the power to inform, educate, and encourage thoughtful discussion.
